Flying Kicks and Other Brawls

Our dear Captain has a knack for finding himself in situations where he has to use a more hands-on, shall we say, kind of diplomacy than Ambassador Sarek's. One might even think that he sometimes does his best not to avoid a good brawl. Here are listed some of Kirk's more memorable fights.
There is, of course, a whole section devoted to the infamous Kirk Flying Kick! Because not only does he throw people around like a true martial artist (well, I'm not convinced by his breakfalls in Charlie X, but then again, nobody's perfect) - he also gives kicks and punches!
Of course, these pictures should only be an incentive to watch the episodes, because screencaps cannot do them justice.

Flying Kicks Kirk/Spock Fights Kirk's Brawls

The Flying Kicks!

In Gamesters of Triskelion

In Gamesters of Triskelion... again!

In Spectre of the Gun

In A Private Little War

By Any Other Name

Journey to Babel - full fight here.

A truly magnificent leap!

Will the Captain land bum first?

Grace, elegance and efficiency!

Paradise Syndrome - full fight and another flying kick here!

And here again...

...behold DA (decomposed) KICK OF DOOM!

Will he ever touch ground again?

And now, a few mythic Kirk-Spock fights!

Naked Time and the effects of the psi 2000 virus

Do they look like they're happy with each other?

Kirk slaps Spock, infected with the psi-2000 virus...

...to snap him out of it and get the job done!

Spock stops the next blow...

...and sends the Captain flying over the table.

Kirk is now infected and hurt! Will the ship be saved?

This side of Paradise

Captain Kirk has realized anger erases the drugging effect of the spores.

He calls Spock back to the ship to help him do the job...

...and taunts him ('your father is a computer'! sic)

Spock smiles at first, then is puzzled...

...he loses his cheerful spirit...

...and now he is Not Amused!

As Kirk had noted earlier, Spock is much stronger than a human.

'Aroused, his... strength could kill!'

Spock realizes he's been manipulated.

Kirk can breathe again! Spock is back!

Spock is devastated: without the spores, he loses his sense of belonging

Kirk admits deliberately hurting Spock was painful for him, too

Amok Time where we meet locals dressed in tinfoil in spite of the heat (no wonder Spock ran away for cooler climes!) but Spock's own family don't even show up! Booh!
At least we get to see hot man-on-man action... Because hey, Kirk's totally ok with rubbing himself against a horny-to-death Spock! They manly fight and it's angsty n stuff... Wee!

Spock is deep in plak-tau, the fever

He's ready to kill

He doesn't recognise his Captain!

They fight with lirpas, one is broken

Kirk is panting and slashed across the chest

Bones gives him a hypo to breathe in the thinner air of Vulcan

T'Pau orders that the fight goes on with ahn-woons...

...long, thin strips of something (leather?) weighed at each end.

They roll around on the sand.

Spock strangles his Captain to death over a brazier...

...before snapping out of the Fever and realizing too late what happened!

And the big Sickbay smile! Bones had a trick up his sleeve....

And the big Kirk fights!

Where No Man Has Gone Before

The newly telekinetic Gary Mitchell forces Kirk to kneel.

He shows him his grave.

They fight and punch each other.

The first ripped shirt!

Kirk gets really scared of his former friend.

He tries to brain Gary with a rock while his powers are low, but can't.

He uses a gun to make big rocks crumble on Gary...

...who ends up in Kirk's grave, the one he'd dug himself.

Kirk ponders on the dramatic irony of it all.

Space Seed

Kirk finds Khan in Engineering

Yay! A flying kick!

Kirk hangs on the grid for a quick fu fight...

...and uses a viet-vo-dao style throw.

Kirk finds a tool to beat the former tyrant who tried to have him washed

And knocks down the genetically-enhanced Khan.

Mirror, Mirror

Kirk gets attacked by Chekov.

Uhura seduces a willing Sulu, before backhanding him.

Uhura is not only sexy, but also dangerous! Beware, Sulu!

Four people against Spock - they have to smash a skull over his head to stop him!

Kirk gets rid of Sulu (he earlier was attacked by Chekov, but had help)

Girls also get a piece of the action - of course Uhura wins! She also slapped Sulu earlier.

Journey to Babel

An Andorian attacks the Captain with a knife!

Kirk knees his poor enemy...

They grapple each other.

Of course, I must include the Flying Kick!

All three caps...

Even if I put them on top of the page already.

The Captain is stabbed!

He throws his attacker over his shoulder.

Kirk is bleeding and calls right away for the Doctor Spock!

Paradise Syndrome - the full fight!

Oh no! Kirok's rival!

'Behold the god who bleeds!'

They grapple...

...and throw each other around.

Kriok grabs a tree trunk...

... and soars in the air for a first kick!

And here again...

...behold DA (decomposed) KICK OF DOOM!

Will he ever touch ground again?

By Any Other Name

Kirk and Rojan the Kelvan have a manly mano & mano.

They know incredible techniques! (See the flying kick too!)

Kirk bends Rojan over the table and they fu fight.
